WHAT TO EXPECT
In one day, learn how to reach out to students in-person or virtually who are new, sick, hospitalized, bullied, or lose loved ones in hopes of preventing those things from spiraling down into more serious issues including suicidal thoughts. Learn strategies to teach students (in schools or home school groups) to help those in need. The B.I.O.N.I.C. Team was started by a school counselor after four suicides at her school. Three years later, Heather Boston, an Advanced Placement English teacher said, "There has been a dramatic change in the climate and culture of our school to more students looking out for each other, and the single greatest factor is the B.I.O.N.I.C. Team!"
